Inside Out Tag

First of all I’d like to apologise for the lack of posts lately. Life has been very busy recently, but I have a few exciting things lined up for Amy’s Bookish Life in the next few weeks so be prepared!

Today I thought I’d do another book tag as I haven’t done one in a while. This one is the Inside Out Tag and is based of the Disney Pixar film Inside Out. For this tag you find a book that makes you feel one of the emotions feature in the film. I found this tag via Wonderless Reviews so go and check them out!

Joy – A book that brings you joy

This may seem like an odd choice, but whilst I was reading Wonder I couldn’t help but fall in love with Auggie. Everything about him was so likeable. I loved how despite having facial abnormalities he managed to tough the hearts of many of the people around him. I read this book with a huge smile on my face.

Sadness – A book that made you sad

All The Bright Places is such a beautifully written book, but it’s also very sad and I was crying a lot when reading this. The idea behind it is great for bringing awareness to mental health but that ending got me and I couldn’t stop blubbing.

Fear – A book that truly scared you

I’m not a big fan of the horror genre so I haven’t really read any books that have scared me. However, Death House was pretty scary at times and did have me hanging in suspense a hell of a lot. So I guess that counts right?

Disgust – A book that disgusted you

Do I really need to say anything about this?

Anger – A book that makes you angry

I love The Hunger Games trilogy but Mockingjay had me screaming out in frustration a lot. Was there any need to kill off so many characters that we’d come to love and respect?! and don’t get me started on the ending!

I tag anyone who wants to do this tag to do it! Remember to tag me in your post so I can check out your answers.

Amy
