It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? 20th February

Hosted by The Book DateIt’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly meme where you share what you have recently read, what you are currently reading and what is up next on your TBR list. A few good books coming up this week, so enjoy!

Read Last Week

I managed to read two books this week and I was actually quite surprised by this fact. Life has been super busy this week so I am actually shocked that I was able to finish two reads.

Heartless I absolutely loved. It’s an origin story of The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and that was the concept that drew me into it. A brilliant read from start to finish and one that I won’t forget in a hurry. Review is here.

Blogger girl was one that I both liked and disliked for many different reasons which you will find out about if you read the review here. It’s primarily about a book blogger, which as you can imagine both intrigued and excited me.

Currently Reading

I’ve tried to read a book by Graeme Simsion before, which as you could probably guess was The Rosie Project. As much as I tried I just couldn’t get into it. However, when I found out about The Best of Adam Sharp I knew that it was going to be nothing like The Rosie Project. I am only a small way in but I am liking it so far.

Up Next

I need a good chick lit to read from time to time and I am really looking forward to reading this. I have a feeling it will be like other chick lit novels I have liked such as Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe and The Cosy Teashop in the Castle.

  1. I hadn't seen that cover of Heartless before – it's so pretty! That one's on my TBR for sometime this year. The Little Teashop of Broken Hearts looks so cute. I hope you enjoy it! :-)~Marie @ Ramblings of a DaydreamerHere’s my Monday post
