Sunday Post #1

Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer which takes place every Sunday. Its a place to look back on the week and share what’s been happening with you personally, what’s been on your blog, what you have been reading, what books you have received and what is happening on your blog next week. This is going to be something I will try and do every week. Enjoy!

Personal

I’ve had a busy few days if I’m honest. It’s been half term and I’ve been spending a lot of time with James’ nieces Anna and Mia – who are two of the most adorable little girls ever. It has been hectic running after them though but all in good fun! We went to Southend on Thursday and took them to the seaside. Was majorly busy but I loved it. We went on a few rides at Adventure Island and then chilled on the beach. I don’t get to see the beach much nowadays so it was lovely to get some fresh sea air into me.

I also caught up with an old friend when she came to London on Wednesday. I hadn’t seen her for over two years so the catch up was long overdue. We went and had lunch and a few drinks and it was like the two years apart hadn’t even happened. I love friendships like that – where you don’t have to have seen each other for ages but as soon as you do it’s perfect.

I had my last day of work at WHSmith yesterday (Saturday) as I have now practically finished my Masters (still got my final project to do!) and I am moving back home to Ipswich. It was sad as I have loved working with and being around books but it’s time to move forward onto bigger and better things.

  1. The cable cars is on my bucket list if I ever make it London. You're pics are beautiful! Did you enjoy Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between? It's on my TBR and looks like it would be so good. Hope you have a great week :)Here's my Sunday Post.

  2. The cable cars were amazing! Would definitely recommend them! I didn't really enjoy Hello, Goodbye, and Everything In Between. I felt like the plot fell flat, but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. I'll check out your post! 🙂

  3. Sounds like you had a nice week with your nieces visiting. I don't go to the beach a lot either nowadays. And friendships like that are great where you can just pick off where you left off. I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great week!
