Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer which takes place every Sunday. Its a place to look back on the week and share what’s been happening with you personally, what’s been on your blog, what you have been reading, what books you have received and what is happening on your blog next week.
What a week this has been! It has literally been non stop so some of the posts I scheduled to have up haven’t gone up so I am sorry. I am also so grateful that I was able to relax today and get some bits done. I hope you have all had a good week and as always tell me what you have been up to in the comments.
As I mentioned this week has been a busy one. For starters I started at my new job. I am a Parks Receptionist at a visitor centre at a park in my town of Ipswich. The park is called Holywells Park and it is beautiful. I feel lucky to be able to work in a gorgeous environment. I am loving the job itself already and everyone I have met seem lovely. I am going to be very happy there I think.
I also got the grade back for my final project/dissertation for my Masters. I got a Merit (2:1) and I am over the moon! It means that if everything is alright I will be graduating from London Metropolitan University in December with a Merit in MA Creative, Digital & Professional Writing. All that hard work paid off and I couldn’t be prouder.
From Wednesday – Friday me and James went to Birmingham to visit his friend, his friend’s fiancee and their baby boy Theo. It was an enjoyable few days. It was nice to spend some time with them and fall in love with baby Theo. He was such a cutie. We explored Birmingham and it was a lovely city to go around. I went on a bit of a bear hunt as there were lots of bear sculptures around and I did get a bit obsessed. Also went to the BBC Visitor Centre, the main shopping street/centre and the Cathedral. All in all it was a great few days. We are planning to go back sometime.
I also had my YA Bookclub meeting today. We were discussing The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily Danforth. I love being able to discuss books with like-minded people. I also feel that friendships are being formed within the group which is always good.
