Hosted by The Book Date. It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly meme where you share what you have recently read, what you are currently reading and what is up next on your TBR list.
Hope you have all had a fabulous week! My blogging game hasn’t been that strong lately but I am still reading, so don’t worry. Life has just been so busy lately. I’m hoping it will be calming down soon but I can’t really see that happening.
As always leave comments telling me what you are reading this week.
Read Last Week
Yet again I read two books last week. It seems to be the norm for me at the moment.
I really enjoyed Here We Are Now. It’s a contemporary YA novel about a teenager discovering who she really is and finding long lost family. It was a sweet, quick, easy read that touched my heart. Definitley worth a read if you love contemporary YA.
Murder on the Orient Express was the book I needed to read ahead of my next book club meeting. To be honest if I wasn’t reading it for a book club I would have given up. I really didn’t like it. I couldn’t connect with any of the characters, there were so many plot holes and the ending was ridiculous. I hate saying this about a ‘classic’ but I just can’t help it.
Currently Reading
I brought Rebel of the Sands when I went to YALW in London last month. I’m not that far into it but I am loving it so far. It’s definitely right up my street. YA Fantasy is my fave.
Up Next
13 Minutes has been on my TBR pile for a while and I am finally going to get the chance to read it. I am really excited to delve into it as it sounds perfect for me.
I enjoyed Rebel of the Sands. Its sequel Traitor to the Throne was good too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I think Murder on the Orient Express is a classic because it's so ridiculous. It's not my favorite Christie novel but I'm glad I read it. Come see what I'm reading
