So, it’s been a long time since I’ve done a book tag on Amy’s Bookish Life and seeing as it’s a Bank Holiday Weekend I thought it would be good to do the Bank Holiday Book Tag.
I found this on Tea Party Princess. Go and check out her blog! It’s fab!
I won’t tag anyone but feel free to do it if you wish, just link it back to me. Oh and before I start…I hope you all have a great Easter!
Have a lie in – What book could you lounge in bed with all morning?
This is a hard one as I have plenty I could choose. I think I’m gonna choose one of the Harry Potter series as I just can’t get enough of them.
Oh my goodness! It’s actually sunny outside! – A book that makes you feel optimistic?
Definitely Big Bones by Laura Dockrill. The theme of body confidence and body positivity just gives me a big boost.
Spend some time outdoors – A book that reminds you of nature?
The Waking Land by Callie Bates. I love how it combines both fantasy and the land to create an amazing YA Fantasy.
Make some punch – A book that you find difficult to classify into one genre?
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. It’s classed as YA but having tried to read it, it’s a lot heavier than I though – especially for YA. I would class it as Sci Fi or Dystopian.
Pass some food around – A book you want to share with everyone?
Children of Blood and Bone! I won’t say anything else apart from…READ THIS INCREDIBLE BOOK!
Light the BBQ – A book that took a while to get going?
The Miseducation of Cameron Post. I loved the last quarter of it but the rest was just well dull.
Failed BBQ – A book that ultimately disappointed you?
Carve the Mark. I loved the Divergent series and was looking forward to reading a new story by Veronica Roth. However, it was just awful and I won’t be reading the rest of the series.
It’s raining…of course – A book to curl up with when it’s raining outside?
Any book by Jenny Colgan. Her light hearted chick lit novels are just great to read on a miserable day.
Let’s just eat the chocolate – A book that’s super sweet?
Simon vs. The Homosapiens Agenda. This book was just super cute and adorable and it made me super happy.
I love your choices :)And yes, COBAB is absolutely amazing. Thanks for joining the tag!Cora | http://www.teapartyprincess.co.uk/
