I am currently reading an advance copy of When The Curtain Falls by Carrie Hope Fletcher
A certain kind of magic is born when the curtain rises. Intoxicated by the smell of greasepaint and powered by the glow of the footlights, lovers successfully elope, villains get their just deserts and people die in epic stunts and yet live to tell the tale.
This opening is just so magical and you definitely get the idea that something amazing is to come. I am a big lover of the theatre and this certainly got me interested.
‘How “not in love with me” are you?’
Walter stretched out his own fingers and slowly intertwined them with Fawn’s and a fire raced up from his hands, through his arms and around his neck.
I have been so excited to read this book since Carrie announced it. From what I have read so far I am impressed and can’t wait to delve more into his magical love story.
