Characters I’d Go On Holiday With (Six for Sunday)

Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.

This week’s topic is ‘characters we’d go on holiday with’. This is great as it ties in nicely with the Top Ten Tuesday post I did this week about characters I’d like to be friends with. There are many book characters that I would love to go on holiday with and to be honest it was pretty hard narrowing it down to six but here we go…

1 . Tabby Brown (Paper & Hearts Society by Lucy Powrie)

In this book Tabby and her book club friends go on an epic literary road trip and this is something that I would love to do! We’d go on trips across the world scouting out amazing literary locations.

2 . Hermione Granger (Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling)

From what I’ve read in the books Hermione does seem to go on summer holiday to some lovely places. Also, we wouldn’t need to pay for travel as we could just apparate.

3 . Matilda Pages (Pages & Co – Tilly and the Book Wanderers by Anna James)

Tilly could take me to book shops in different cities and we could go book wandering in each of them, which would either go really well or really badly. Either way I’d love it!

4 . Nikolai (Six of Crows Duology)

Nikolai is one of my book crushes and to just be able to spend some time alone with him in a sunny location would be pure bliss.

5 . Scythe Faraday (Arc of a Scythe Series by Neal Shusterman)

To be honest it’d just be great to see Scythe Faraday let his hair down and relax in the sun.

6 . Augustus Waters (The Fault in our Stars by John Green)

Just take me to Amsterdam with you Gus…please!
