It’s time for another tag! I’ve seen the ‘End of the Year Book Tag’ floating around for a while and thought why not do it? 2019 is nearly over and it’ll be good to look back on my reading year.
I’m not tagging any in particular to do this tag, but feel free to do it if you wish.
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
Hmmm I do have a few! I want to try to and get through Northern Lights (although I’m not a big fan at the moment) and also finish my current audiobook which is The Light Jar by Lisa Thompson.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?
I’d probably say Perfectly Preventable Deaths by Deidre Sullivan. I do want to get that read ASAP.
Is there a new release that you’re still waiting for?
I really want The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern, but I have asked for it for Christmas so fingers crossed! I also really want The Beast of Buckingham Palace by David Walliams…for work purposes of course.
What are three books that you want to read before the end of the year?
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, Frostheart by Jamie Littlier and Love, Secret Santa by S.A. Domingo.
Is there still a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite?
Most definitely Ninth House! I have heard amazing things about it, so fingers crossed I end up loving it.
Have you already made reading plans for 2020?
Well, I want to read 150 books in 2020, which I hope will be doable (I have nearly finished this years challenge of reading 100 books!). I also want to listen to more audiobooks and get a regular posting schedule going.
