Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is a genre freebie.
Now, as we are going through an uncertain time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a lot of us are self isolating and practicing social distancing. This can take it’s toll on mental health, so I thought I would share my favourite books within the comedy genre that you could read to keep your spirits up!
What books would you recommend reading whilst self isolating/social distancing?
1. Alex in Wonderland by Simon James Green

2. No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter

3. The Switch Up by Katy Cannon

4. The French Confection by Anthony Horowitz

5. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

6. Bookshop Girl by Chloe Coles

7. Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

8. The Twits by Roald Dahl

9. Cookie by Konnie Huq

10. Editing Emma by Chloe Seager

Oh yes, The Twits is so funny! I still want to read it in English, as I only read it in Dutch as a child.
