Series to Binge on During Lockdown

Last week I wrote a post titles ‘Standalones to Binge on During Lockdown‘ and that went down a treat, so I thought I would do another one, this time talking about series you could binge on during this lockdown.

I do love a good book series and the ones mentioned are ones that I have devoured and just rave about…a lot.

Which series would you recommend?

Arc of a Scythe series by Neal Shusterman

If you know me you will know that I am obsessed with this series! There’s just something about it that pulls you in and before you know it you are sucked down the Scythe hole! If you meet me in person and I find out you haven’t read this series, be prepared for me talking your ear off about it!

The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

Ahh Leigh Bardugo! What a queen! The Grisha Trilogy was my first delve into her incredible world building and writing and let me tell you..I was captivated. The world that Leigh has created is just outstanding and you all need to read this series ASAP.

Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

More Leigh Bardugo (I promise this isn’t all about her!). The Six of Crows duology is different to the Grisha trilogy, and in my opinion just a little bit better. This series will give you all the feels and may make you fall in love with a certain Kaz Brekker.

Potkin and Stubbs series by Sophie Green

Potkin and Stubbs is such a fun middle grade series that I adore! It follows the adventures of Lil Potkin a wannabe reporter and her sidekick, Nedly Stubbs..who is a ghost! This series is one that you won’t want to put down..oh and Sophie Green is such a lovely person, so please do go support her!

Heartstopper Series by Alice Oseman

This is just the cutest series of graphic novels ever! When I read them I just felt all warm and cosy inside, and in my opinion they are perfect to read if you need something lighthearted. Heartstopper follows the love story of Nick and Charlie, and features some pretty important topics such as being LGBTQ+, coming out, mental health and eating disorders. There’s only three in the series so far, but I know there are more coming.

Pages & Co Series by Anna James

The Pages & Co series is perfect for book lovers everywhere! Yes, it’s marketed as Middle Grade but I feel like everyone will love this series, despite what age they are. It follows Matilda Pages, as she learns she’s a book wanderer and can wander into books and be a part of their story. It’s truly magical and who wouldn’t want to be able to go into their favourite book? The third book is on the way, so I hear.

Sovereign Trilogy by Josie Jaffrey

The Sovereign Trilogy brings a unique twist to the vampire genre and this, in turn, hooks you! I read all three books seemingly quickly and found myself utterly immersed in this unique world. Trust me..you will get sucked in!
