Books on my TBR that I think will be 5 stars (Six for Sunday)

Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.

This weeks prompt is ‘books on my TBR that I predict will be 5*’. Such a great prompt and one that I had trouble narrowing down books for. I have many books on my TBR that I have a feeling will be great! I usually pick up books due to good reviews anyway.

What books on your TBR do you think will be 5* reads?

S4S April week 3

1. Asking for a Friend by Kate Mallinder

Asking For a Friend

I read Kate’s debut, Summer of No Regrets last year and gave it a 5* rating. I am very eager to read my proof copy of this book ASAP, as I just have a great feeling that it’s going to be such an amazing contemporary read and one that I will just adore.

2. House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas

A few of my friends have gone crazy for this book and are desperate for me to get stuck into it. I have heard such good things and I am praying that I love it as much as others.

3. Venom by Bex Hogan

Another book that has been getting great ratings and reviews. This is one that I am very intrigued to see if it lives up to the hype. I am really hoping it does, as Viper was great!

4. One Of Us Is Next by Karen McManus

I still haven’t read this and I feel somewhat ashamed! I loved One Of Us Is Lying and gave it 5*, so I am hoping this sequel will be the same! I have seen some good reviews mind you.

5. The Girl Who Stole an Elephant by Nizrana Farook

This was the Waterstones Children’s Book of the Month for January so I am expecting great things! The premise of the story sounds really intriguing and I am looking forward to getting into it.

6. The Flat Share by Beth O’Leary

36478784. sy475

Another book that I’ve heard such great things about! It isn’t my usual genre to read but from what I’ve seen I am in for a treat.
