Since getting it a few days after it was released I have been obsessed with Animal Crossing New Horizons! It’s my first ever Animal Crossing game and to say I am hooked would be an understatement. So, I was overjoyed to find out that there was an Animal Crossing New Horizons book tag floating about!
The tag was originally created by Angharad and Becky at Two Book Thieves.
If you want to do this then considered yourself tagged!
Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?
It’s a pretty obvious one but Matilda. I just found myself relating to her. She’s a bookworm and doesn’t let bad comments get her down!
Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read.
I’m not a big fan of Historical Fiction but I did really enjoy A Sky Painted Gold by Laura Wood. It’s set in 1920’s and is just a stunning story!
Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?
There’s actually a few! Wonderland by Juno Dawson, The Paper & Hearts Society: Read with Pride by Lucy Powrie, Harrow Lake by Kat Ellis & Good Girl Bad Blood by Holly Jackson just to name some!
Timmy and Tommy – What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?
I LOVE Fred and George Weasley and my heart ripped in two when they were separated. You could tell how much their bond meant to each of them and they brought much needed comic relief in the Harry Potter series.
The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of.
Draco Malfoy. Yes, I understand that he was brought up with all the pureblood propaganda, but he was first and foremost a bully.
Nook’s Loans – An author you’d give all your money to.
Leigh Bardugo. That’s all I have to say.
The Sisters Able – What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?
I’m gonna say The Weasleys. I love how they look out for and care for one another and reading about them makes me feel all cosy.
It’s a C+ – What is a book trope that you don’t like that keeps popping up?
Insta Love! It’s not realistic and it really puts me off carrying on the book.
The Wedding Camel – What is your favourite book set in a land far away from yours?
Six of Crows. I would love to be able to go to Ketterdam and be in the dregs (if Kaz would have me!)
What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?
Hogwarts. I mean who wouldn’t? What I wouldn’t give to be able to be a student there and just suck in all the wonders of the Wizarding World!
