Series I Am Excited To Start (Six For Sunday)

Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.

This week’s topic is ‘series I am dying to read’. Now for me there’s a few book series that I have heard many good things about and that I am itching to get my hands on. Most of these have come from fellow book bloggers and friends, and hopefully I will read all these series someday.

What book series are you dying to read?

1. Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab

V.E Schwab is an author that I hear so many amazing things about, and one series of hers that gets lot of love is the Shades of Magic series. This is one series that just sounds incredible, and I will be purchasing the books very soon.

2. Brightstorm series by Vashti Hardy

A few of the children at work have read this series and rave about it, so I need to get on it, so I can chat to them about it. It sounds like it’s going to be a great series packed full of adventure.

3. Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas

This may be cheating slightly, as I have read the first book in this series. However, it was a long time ago and I will probably need to reread it. Obviously as it’s Sarah J Maas this series gets a lot of good press and I do want to get on and read it to see if it’s worth the hype.

4. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

I have read Maggie’s other series, The Wolves of Mercy Falls, but I have never got round to reading The Raven Cycle. A few of my friends keep bugging me to read it, so I think I will start it very soon.

5. The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer

Anything with fairy tales is a must read for me, and The Land of Stories sounds like something I will love! It just sounds so magical and I have a feeling it will just fill me with joy.

6. Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

This really bad but I have never read this series! Well I started The Lightning Thief years ago but never finished it. I feel like this is a series that I need to read and soon seeing as there’s an adaption coming to Disney Plus in the near future.
