Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.
This week is all about our favourite characters from book series. Oh where do I even begin to think about my top six favourite characters from book series? There’s just too many to even think about. However, I will give this list a good go and share the ones that have stuck with me the most.
Kaz Brekker – Six of Crows Duology
Kaz is a misunderstood anti hero, who has many flaws but is one that you can’t help but swoon over. I loved how Leigh made us fall in love with a guy that does commit thefts and murder. His relationship with Inej is one that I just can’t stop obsessing over and I commend the queen that is Leigh Bardugo for creating such a complex character.
Luna Lovegood – Harry Potter Series
Luna is such a unique, quirky character who is aware that she is a bit odd, but doesn’t care. She’s also a pretty bad ass witch and fought bravely in the battle of the department of mysteries and the battle of Hogwarts. She’s a role model to all those who do feel like they’re a bit different.
Commander Grey – Cursebreakers Series
Oh Grey! My bae. I fell in love with him ever since I was introduced to him. Learning more about him throughout the first two book just made me fall in love with him even more, and his complex characterisation was so well written. Really excited to read book 3 to see where his journey goes.
Lil Potkin – Potkin and Stubbs Trilogy
Oh Lil Potkin! She’s my favourite 12 year old reporter. I found her determination and grit throughout this entire series inspiring, and at times she was also down right bad ass! Her relationships with Ned and Abe warmed my heart and I honestly want to read more about her adventures.
Scythe Curie – Arc of a Scythe Series
Scythe Curie..if I was an apprentice Scythe I’d love to be her mentee! She’s a great mentor to Citra and helps her to learn compassion for those she gleans and their families. Sycthe Curie is not afraid to fight for what she believes in and how the Scythedom should be run.
Thomas Cresswell – Stalking Jack the Ripper Series
Oh Thomas, be mine? I couldn’t help but fall in love with this smart talking, flirtatious, charming man. He has that sophistication that you can’t help but adore, but he’s also brave and wants to help Audrey Rose the best he can.
