Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.
This weeks prompt is ‘favourite LGBT characters’. Now, I’m going to do this a little different and share my favourite female LGBT characters. I feel that f/f fiction is lacking so I want to shine a light on some female characters from fiction that are LGBT.
Who are your favourite female LGBT characters?

1 . Alice from Wonderland by Juno Dawson

2 . Amanda Hardy from If I Was Your Girl

3 . Sophia from Cinderella is Dead

4 . Lil from The Deathless Girls by Kiran Millwood Hargrave

5 . Olivia Santos from The Paper & Hearts Society by Lucy Powrie

6 . Camille from Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn

* With everything that is going on in the world right now I couldn’t not talk about it. I am in huge support of the Black Lives Matter movement and am devastated with what I am seeing and hearing on a day to day basis. I couldn’t be silent about it and I urge you if you haven’t already to please donate, sign petitions and get involved. Please don’t stay silent. This link will take you to a list of where you can get information on signing petitions, donating and how you can help.

Love this idea! My favourite LGBT female characters are April from An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, Therese from Carol, and Celie from The Color Purple

Idk how she would identify but she’s definitely not straight so I say she counts as LGBT
