Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The topic for this week is a thanksgiving freebie where we can share books that we are thankful for.
For this topic, I thought I would share some of the books that helped get me through lockdown earlier in the year. I found lockdown quite hard, and found that reading helped me relax and put my mind at ease. I read many books throughout lockdown, but these are the ones that helped me the most.
What books helped you through lockdown?
1. Nothing Ever Happens Here by Sarah Hagger-Holt

2. A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

3. The House of Hidden Wonders by Sharon Gosling

4. Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo

5. A Heart So Fierce and Broken by Brigid Kemmerer

6. Asking For A Friend by Kate Mallinder

7. Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson

8. Venom by Bex Hogan

9. Hideous Beauty by William Hussey

10. Wonderland by Juno Dawson

Books are such a nice escape during a lockdown.

It’s always great when you find awesome books that whisk you away to a different world, especially when the one you’re living in is rough. I’m glad you found some good ones! GOOD GIRL, BAD BLOOD is one I definitely want to read in 2021.
Happy TTT!
