I have such a cosy reading spot in my flat which I love! It’s so nice to just be able to curl up and lose myself in a book for a while, especially with how busy I have been lately.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’ve been so useless at keeping my bookstagram going but I have had a lot on. I started my new job a few weeks ago - I’m now a Secondary School Librarian at a lovely school. It’s taking me a while to adjust as I’m still partly in a primary school mindset but I am loving the role so far! I get to talk about teen and YA fiction all day so it’s perfect for me. I’ve also finally got back into reading after a long reading slump. My goal this year is to read 52 books. A book a week is doable for me I think, especially with how busy I am going to be.

Holly Jackson is honestly the queen of YA Thrillers! I’m 100 pages into her latest - Five Survive and I am hooked! Thankfully it’s now my Christmas holiday so I have lots of time to read it!

Operation Nativity was a hilarious yet heartwarming read from the wonderful @j_c_pearson who is becoming one of my favourite mg writers of comedy. The festive bonus made me feel all warm and Christmassy and it’s definitely one you need to pick up this festive season 🎄🦃🎁

The Arc of a Scythe series is probably my favourite YA series of all time, so, I was buzzing to finally get my hands on the Waterstones exclusive edition of Gleanings. This is a collection of short stories set in the Scythe universe and having started reading it last night I can tell you now that it doesn’t disappoint!

Hello everyone! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I last posted in September and a few things have happened since then.

The Cursebreakers series is one of my favourite series of all time so I’m highly excited to dive into Forging Silver Into Stars! I’m hoping to get to it soon as it’s high up on my TBR!

It feels like autumn is finally in the air doesn’t it? I’ve changed up my insta theme to a more autumnal feel, and I’m looking forward to reading all those spooky reads, using my gorgeous autumnal bookmarks from #DaisieAndBee 🍂🍁

I’ve been meaning to pick this up for ages and as it recently won the YA Book Prize I’ve been more determined to get it! Luckily I found it in the amazing indie @booksonthehillstalbans whilst visiting my sister in law. Looking forward to giving it a read! 💖🏳️‍🌈
