Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer which takes place every Sunday. Its a place to look back on the week and share what’s been happening with you personally, what’s been on your blog, what you have been reading, what books you have received and what is happening on your blog next week.
I am back and ready to start doing Sunday Post and my weekly wrap up. I am looking forward to sharing these and reading others. This week has been a bit slow but I’m sure I’ll be able to tell you something.
Leave me comments with your weekly wrap ups as I’d love to read them.
It’s been a bit of a quiet week this week. I think I’ve been suffering with January Blues which is never good. I’m hoping my mood picks up this coming week as I hate feeling like this.
I went to the adult book club at my local Waterstones on Monday evening. We’d been reading How to Stop Time by Matt Haig – a book which I really enjoyed! The meeting itself went really well and loads of thoughts and opinions were shared. I also love the social aspect of it all. I’ve met some lovely people through going to book clubs and for someone who has social anxiety its a big thing. Books do really bring people closer. I’m not too fond on the book we are reading for February – Magpie Murders by Anthony Horrowitz so I’m not sure if I’ll go to the next meeting or not. We’ll see.
Work was the other thing that mainly happened this week. My job is becoming a lot more interesting and for that I am happy. I also applied for a few entry level publishing jobs so fingers crossed! Getting into the publishing industry would be my dream.
Oh and after three years of wearing them I finally said goodbye to my trusty purple glasses and said hello to two new pairs of Cath Kidston glasses. I do love them.
Sorry I don’t have much more to say. Hopefully next week will be different.
