Six for Sunday is weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot where we are encouraged to give our opinions on a certain topic or a book-related theme.
It’s the start of May and the start of ‘Showing some series love’ month on Six for Sunday. The first prompt for this month is favourite book 1 in series. Now I have read many series, and I think you’ll agree that the first book is usually the one that sets you up for the adventure ahead and introduces you to the world and characters. It was hard to choose my favourite first books, but I finally got the list down to six!
What are your favourite first books in a series?

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by J.K. Rowling

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

Potkin and Stubbs by Sophie Green

Heartstopper Vol 1 by Alice Oseman

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

I have both Six of Crows and A Curse so Dark and Lonely. Haven’t read them yet though. Six of Crows because I still want to finish the Shadow and Bones trilogy first and ACSDAL I just haven’t got to for some reason
